As the nights start to get lighter our brains naturally start thinking about spring: Spring cleaning, no more shoveling and, of course, gardening! Why not start your seeds off in the garage this year rather than in the basement?

Most people do not stop to think about their garage door very much. They know that it helps to keep their vehicles and other belongings safe, but they do not really know just how strong the garage door is and what it must put up with on a daily basis. Well, if you’ve got an attached garage some government organizations will tell you that the common walls must have a certain R-value, as must the ceiling if there is a room above it. However, if you’ve got a detached garage, there are now regulations to follow at all.
